Miss Kate Panter is a leading consultant gynaecologist based in London with extensive expertise in women’s health, and specialises in menopause, perimenopause and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) alongside premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and breakthrough bleeding. She privately practises at New Victoria Hospital while she has an honorary contract at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

Miss Panter achieved an BA in Medicine from the University of Cambridge in 1984, followed by her medical qualification from the University of London in 1987. She then went on to undertake a fellowship at the University of Toronto, where she conducted research that earned her a Medical Doctorate (MD) from the University of London in 2000.

Her NHS career includes a significant tenure at Kingston NHS Trust, where she served as a consultant from 2001 to 2009. Since 2016, she has held her honorary contract at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, where she consults at the specialist menopause clinic.

Miss Panter is also certified as a menopause expert and has been a member of the Medical Advisory Council of the British Menopause Society since 2019. Her expertise extends beyond clinical practice; she has been an advisor to the English Institute of Sport since 2010, where she applies her knowledge in sports and exercise gynaecology. Notably, she was an accredited gynaecologist at the 2012 London Olympics.

Her sub-specialties include sports and exercise gynaecology, hysteroscopy, NovaSure, MyoSure and the insertion of Mirena, and she is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG).
