Dr Uzman is a leading dental implant surgeon based in Derbyshire who specialises in dental implants, dental bone grafts and periodontal surgery, alongside immediate loading implants (Teeth in a day), zirconia implants and zygomatic implants. He privately practises at Ward & Allison Dental Clinic.

With more than 20 years of experience, Dr Uzman has developed a specialised practice focusing on complex implant and periodontal treatments. He holds a postgraduate diploma in Implant and Restorative Dentistry (2023) and is a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) at the Royal College of Surgeons (Eng) (2006).

Dr Uzman is highly regarded for his skills in placing dental implants, having completed over 1,400 implant placements with a 98 per cent success rate. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Uzman is actively involved in teaching and mentoring. He is an approved mentor for the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and mentors dentists in Suffolk, Sussex, and Lincolnshire.

His contributions to the field include designing the WX Implant and Surgical Instrument Kit and serving as a clinical advisor to Titan Instruments.
