Dr Andrew Poullis is a highly experienced consultant gastroenterologist in London who specialises in indigestion (dyspepsia), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) alongside bowel cancer screening, endoscopy and diverticulitis. He privately practises at New Victoria Hospital while his NHS base is St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

After completing his MB BS at the University of London in 1994, Dr Poullis furthered his training and academic pursuits, earning an MD and a BSc. His dedication to advancing the field of gastroenterology was recognised early in his career with the prestigious Gordon Holmes Prize for Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP).

Dr Poullis is actively involved in the gastroenterology community beyond his clinical practice. He serves as a co-editor for the journal Gastroenterology Today and is a medical advisor for the South West Thames NACC (National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease).
