Very professional and kept me at easy before, during and post surgery. Was accommodating with dates for the surgery and made appointments frequent. I am very happy with the outcome of my septorhinoplasty, only wish is that I had done it sooner.

Dr.Spencer showed lack of professionalism and was judgmental and unclear. He scheduled unnecessary surgery & was resultant to explain the procedure when I asked, leaving me confused and unsupported. Only when I directly asked if I needed the surgery did he advise that I didn’t!

I am very sorry you felt dissatisfied with my consultation and treatment planning as outlined by your review. It is always my intention to ensure that patients are given all treatment options and are able to choose freely. As I recall, this was also the case with yourself. Surgery being the option you chose after a full consultation with all options being explained and offered to you. When you subsequently wanted to re-discuss your treatment options as you felt unsure, I was more than happy to cancel the procedure. I apologise again if you felt unclear about anything and I hope your symptoms resolve with the medical treatment that I prescribed. Wishing you all the best.

Great service from Dr Spenser. Took the time to understand the problem, performed tests onsite and arranged for more tests offsite to be provided quickly. Carefully considered the full medical history to rule out serious underlying conditions.

The doctor was very friendly and professional. Examination wasn't too pleasant, but I was warned beforehand. He thoroughly explained my condition and suggested next steps. He even spotted an unrelated problem and sent a follow-up email regarding this. Great service!

I could not be happier with my choice of Surgeon-Consultant. Dr. Cheka Spencer is competent, thorough, warm, engaging and patient. He always responded almost immediately to every question I had, even he was on holiday. He sent me countless articles and clinical research. Above all, he responds very promptly to my calls and queries whin short time. I was at NHS Hospital and had my test, after the test Consultant advised me that nothing wrong with my ears, as I was struggling, I was advised to contact Dr Spencer, within a few days I was given an appointment. Dr Spencer requested additional testing beyond what my NHS consultant recommended, which resulted in minor surgery to my Eustachian tube dysfunction. He genuinely cares about his patients and works tirelessly to advocate for us. I’m very grateful to Dr. Spencer for looking after me. If you’re debating which Consultant to go with, you’d be remiss to not at least book an initial consultation with Dr. Spencer You’ll see for yourself how excellent he is. He’s also just a great human being and a joy to chat to, which makes a big difference.

My experience with Mr. Spencer was excellent, from the very first consultation to the ongoing post surgery care. Mr. Spencer is clearly an expert in his field, with a vast wealth of knowledge and experience, meaning I felt in safe hands and reassured at every stage of my treatment. Besides his clear medical expertise he takes the time to listen and understand, and is great at explaining complex concepts in layman's terms, so you are never in the dark. Overall, I would highly recommend MrSpencer to any of my friends and family, and I am extremely happy with the process and outcome.

Excellent: quick, calm, clear, friendly, efficient. Perfect at engaging with a 13-year old (and his dad). Way above expectation. Only one grumble: typos in the letter to GP included wrong dob for patient, misspelt name of parent. Grr.
