I came to Professor Quick with a long term Drop Foot issue. He immediately diagnosed the issue through MRI scans provided. His knowledge and understanding was faultless. He reasured me and took the time to explain this issue, the diagnosis and process to get me hopefully back on my feet again. I cannot recommend enough this individual or Donald and the support staff. An outstanding service.

I had 2 extremely disappointing consultations. He was dismissive due to the complex nature of my surgical history. I would never recommend him if one has a complex medical/surgical history.

Mr Quick was very welcoming and polite. He came to greet me in reception with a handshake. It was a very important consultation for myself but Mr Quick was compassionate and honest, which to me goes a very long way.

I am deeply thankful for the doctor's exceptional care, clear explanations, and profound expertise, which resulted in identifying a lifelong condition. This discovery brought great peace of mind, especially as previous doctors had attributed my symptoms to psychological factors. It instilled confidence in the treatment plan moving forward.

It was my first visit to see Mr Tom Quick and I came all the way from the Isle of Anglesey , for a 30 minute self paid appointment, as he had been highly recommended by a physio. He had clearly read through every scan and report I had sent him prior to the consultation, his experience and expertise shone through and I liked the way that he asked questions to find out even more information from me. Although it wasn’t the news I wanted to hear, he was very honest and up front with me, which I respect, and still formulated a plan of action going forward to continue to support me to make the right decision for my pain management going forward. For a first consultation I feel 30 minutes wasn’t long enough, but I did come away with the knowledge I needed to move forward on trying to resolve my nerve damage and pain.

My experience of Tom Quick was excellent. He always treated me with compassion, listened to my fears, and answered my questions. I believe that he is extremely knowledgeable in his field and was able to complete my surgery with great care and skill. I would highly recommend him to other patients with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.

The doctor is very knowledgeable, gives time to ask questions, and answers all the questions fully. I really appreciated the direct approach and cutting unnecessary pleasantries and getting to the point. Thank you Tom for treating me so well.

Mr.Quick first saw my daughter when she was just 17 weeks old. My daughter suffered a brachial plexus injury at birth. Right from the start I felt reassured and trusted Tom totally. He has operated on my daughter 3 times now and I feel so happy and lucky that my daughter Evelyn is under Mr.Quick's care and is well looked after. I will be forever grateful to Tom for all he has done for our daughter and he is Evelyn's hero.

I first met Mr Tom Quick with Prof. Birch July 2013 at Headley Court. I was referred to RNOH Stanmore in the PNI Unit in September 2013. The two of them pin pointed my problems from a previous injury (Jan 2008), straight away, which no one else picked up. Not only did Mr Quick fix me, he listened to all of my concerns, especially with what and where I wanted to be in life. Mr Quick took everything on board, after a fair few procedures, he has changed my life massively in a positive way. This next sentence is a fact. If I did not meet this leg-end I would still be in massive pain, lots of medication, have very poor and limited mobility. Thanks again Mr Tom Quick, keep up the great work. You are still my hero. Cheers Dave

Tom Quick treated me for my brachial plexus injury having dislocated and fractured my my shoulder badly whilst out hiking in May 2016. He has been very efficient and personable and explained everything very clearly so it was easy to understand what my injury was and what the recovery process entailed. He performed surgery on me and not only has his surgery worked, enabling my arm to recover and rehabilitate over time but my scar (approx 2.5 inches) is barely noticible now. I have a great occupational therapist (Jenny) who is really brilliant at helping me keep my recovery on track and providing Mr Tom Quick with helpful feedback. I am very grateful for all of the support, treatment and encouragement I have received.

I was referred to Mr Tom Quick in April following a very serious elbow fracture with ulnar nerve damag following an accident. Mr Quick inspired me with confidence from the start, showing me great empathy, care and reassurance. Despite the seriousness of my injury Mr Quick felt the right course of action was to allow the nerve to regrow and reinnervate rather than subject me to surgery. I have seen him at regular intervals this year. Today I saw Mr Quick again and received the fantastic news that the nerve has reinnervated and things are looking good. Thank you so much Mr Quick!
