Outside of his clinic Mr Chitale also serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London Medical School and has a strong interest in research with over 90 publications to his name. In addition, he was the principal author of the first-ever randomised controlled trial (RCT) on shock wave therapy (SWT) for Peyronie's disease.

Mr. Chitale treated me for prostatitis. He also carried out a rigid cystoscopy as an examination and this resulted in the removal of strictures from the urethra and near the bladder (urethrotomy). He also organised blood tests, flow tests, and other related procedures such as ultrasounds and anaesthesia. Overall, I found him to be friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. Both he and his team looked after me well.
