I would recommend the doctor very professional from start to finish. Quality of care was 100% before and after my operation. The staff were very friendly and were there for my needs when I needed them can’t take the NHS so much they were great. Wait, was very quick. All the Facilities was very good no complaints

Within sixteen weeks I have undergone ACL reconstruction and Meniscal repair on my both knees. No painkillers required. Not even Paracetamol. Have been walking my Labrador without crutches just as I got out of the hospital. The “scars” would make a top Plastic Surgeon envious!
Forget the stereotypical Aloof, Grumpy, Good with the Knife Poor Communicator Surgeon.
Dr Thompson is anything but a stereotype.
He might surprise you with his lack of greed, generosity, raw honesty, unreal sense of humour and laser beam like insight into your body and mind. Maybe even into your soul, if you are being dishonest with your narratives! Be prepared to be scanned by a Human MRI. In fact, he noticed the problem with the knee I did not know it was damaged, way before the MRI.
If you need a Knee Surgeon, Dr Simon Thompson is the ONE. Possibly the One and Only.
The outcomes of his surgeries are quite simply out of this world.
Also, his choices of Admin, Hospital (my surgeries were done at the Lister Hospital) and Physio teams are truly amazing. Just like the Surgeon himself.
