Opened in 2011, the unit's multidisciplinary team provides the full range of personalised treatment plans, from oncoplastic procedures to inpatient and outpatient chemotherapy as well as radiotherapy in a single visit, within one location. This is supported by the provision of state-of-the-art technology including breast 3T MRI scans, a 3D Hologic Mammography, a genetic testing service and an image-guided biopsy service, which facilitate treatment and the delivery of results.
Along with breast cancer treatment plans, menopausal services and breast reconstruction options are also provided.
