Dr Alka Bhikha is a highly experienced general practitioner with a dedicated focus on women’s health. She graduated from the University of Wales, College of Medicine, in 1997 and holds a Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as well as the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Since 2006, Dr Bhikha has been a practising GP within the NHS, where she has cultivated a deep commitment to enhancing women’s health throughout their reproductive years and beyond. Her areas of expertise include assisting couples on their fertility journeys and providing support to those experiencing challenges with conception.
Dr Bhikha has a particular interest in menopause and its profound effects on female health and well-being. Recognising the significant impact menopause can have on various aspects of a woman’s life, from relationships to professional life, she is passionate about making this transition a more positive experience. She believes in delivering personalised care with tailored treatments to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.
