Mr Arun Shanmuganandan is a leading consultant colorectal surgeon based in South London. His research has been published in various peer-reviewed journals, is a member of various professional organisations and is the principal investigator for a multi-centre, NIHR and NICE (The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) approved trial on the use of FIT test, which is a screening tool for bowel cancers that is less invasive.
Furthermore, Mr Shanmuganandan is a member of the trauma care delivery group, Sepsis Taskforce and Research & Development Committee at Croydon University Hospital, and he's also a member of the NICE FIT trial steering group..
