Dr Assunta Albanese

Dr Assunta Albanese is a London-based consultant paediatric endocrinologist, specialising in children affected by growth, calcium, and pubertal adrenalthyroid disorders. She has a special interest in the treatment of endocrine problems of children with cancer. Dr Albanese qualified in Florence, and took her postgraduate training in both Italy and London, at Great Ormond Street Hospital. She is an elected member for several societies, including the British Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, and the European Society of Paediatric Endocrinology. Her publications include work on endocrine disorders, and delayed pubery and growth. She is often invited to speak and make presentations internationally.
