Mr Hemant Vakharia

Mr Hemant Vakharia is a consultant gynaecologist and advanced laparoscopic surgeon at London Gynaecology. He performs a wide range of procedures, including laparoscopic and open surgery for hysterectomy, excision of endometriosis, ovarian cyst removal, diagnostics, and female sterilisation.
 
With additional training at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, Mr Vakharia is proficient in complex gynaecological surgeries. He currently holds an NHS post at Barnet Hospital within the Royal Free NHS Trust, managing endometriosis patients and regularly performing laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures.
 
In addition to clinical work, Mr Vakharia serves as the clinical director for women's services at Barnet Hospital, overseeing gynaecology and obstetrics. Since 2017, he has led service improvements and collaborated with the North Central London CCG on service changes. Mr Vakharia is also a staff governor of the Royal Free NHS Trust, participating in governance meetings and serving on the 'Population Health Committee'.
