Mr Hidekazu Yamamoto

Mr Hidekazu Yamamoto is a highly respected consultant urological surgeon who is based in Eastbourne at Sussex Premier Health. He is renowned for his wealth of expertise in prostate cancer including robotic surgery, as well as bladder cancer.

Mr Yamamoto qualified in medicine from the University of Cambridge, later obtaining a PhD at University College London through the British Urological Foundation. He is a former academic clinical lecturer at King’s College London and was one of the first UK urological surgeons to incorporate transperineal prostate biopsies into his regular practice. He continues to be actively involved in research and acts as an expert peer-reviewer for several esteemed journals, including the British Journal of Urology International.
