Dr Jack Ogden

Dr Jack Ogden is a highly experienced GP with a special interest in diabetes, weight loss and sports medicine alongside men’s health, paediatrics and minor surgical procedures such as skin tag removal. He currently practices as a private doctor at The Lagom Clinic while also serving as a partner, diabetes lead and research lead at Lawrence Hill Health Centre in Bristol.

With a patient-centred approach, Dr Ogden is passionate about helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals by combining expert medical care with personalised lifestyle advice.

Dr Ogden graduated from the University of Bristol with an MBChB in 2012 and furthered his studies with a BSc in Neuroscience and an LLM. He is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and holds additional qualifications in lifestyle medicine through the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (IBLM). Early in his career, he was awarded the prestigious Arthur L Rose Scholarship from the State University of New York, which allowed him to gain valuable international experience.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Ogden is an academic at the Elizabeth Blackwell Institute and the Department of Medical Ethics at the University of Bristol, after being granted an award from the Wellcome Trust.

Dr Ogden is actively involved in improving patient outcomes through research and education, particularly in the areas of diabetes management and lifestyle medicine. His memberships include the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine and the British Association of Sports and Exercise Medicine, demonstrating his commitment to providing holistic, evidence-based care for his patients.
