Dr Mahbubl Ahmed is a leading consultant clinical oncologist based in London, focusing principally on soft tissue sarcoma, bone sarcoma, chondrosarcoma and chordoma.
 
He completed his clinical training at St Bartholomew’s and University College London Hospitals and earned a PhD at the Institute of Cancer Research and the Royal Marsden Hospital, focusing on genes that predispose patients to prostate cancer.
 
He specialises in treating soft tissue and bone sarcomas using chemotherapy and radiotherapy and has a strong interest in clinical research. He is actively developing several new local and national research projects in sarcoma. Additionally, he teaches and lectures regularly on the management of sarcomas.
