Mr Moninder Bhabra is a distinguished consultant cardiothoracic surgeon based in Birmingham. His areas of expertise include mitral and tricuspid valve reconstruction, minimally invasive valve surgery, atrial fibrillation ablation, heart and lung transplantation, and the use of mechanical circulatory support devices.
Mr Bhabra consults privately at The Harborne Hospital. Since 2014, he serves at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and he also continues to practise at Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals since 2004. Previously, Mr Bhabra held a position at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
Mr Bhabra qualified with an MBBS from the University of Nottingham in 1989. He completed higher specialist training in cardiothoracic surgery in the West Midlands and London, before being appointed as a consultant in 2003.
