Mr Mudassar Ghazanfar is a highly regarded and experienced consultant general surgeon who specialises in pancreatitis, pancreas surgery, gallstones, hernias, liver cancer, and laparoscopic hernia surgery. He currently practises at the Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen.
Mr Ghazanfar graduated in 2000 after he successfully completed an MBBS at the Punjab University Lahore in Pakistan. Following this, he would move to the UK to undertake higher surgical training in both Oxford and Aberdeen. Mr Ghazanfar, who holds a master’s degree in minimal access surgery, possesses a high level of expertise in all types of hernias and hernia surgery. He has extensive experience in general surgery and is a specialist in biliary diseases.
Mr Ghazanfar is the current lead for acute gallstone disease in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
