Dr Nadeem Qazi is a leading interventional & musculoskeletal radiologist based in London. He works alongside some of the best physicians in London with whom he provides a comprehensive imaging service including CT and MRI, ultrasound and plain film radiography. Dr Qazi offers a full range of interventional procedures including peripheral vascular angiography and stenting, vascular access services, interventional oncology services including chemoembolisation and radiofrequency ablation, in addition to uterine fibroid embolisation and varicocele embolisation.
He offers these treatments at Alliance Medical Marylebone, a prestigious private clinic in the heart of London. His practice is mainly geared towards musculoskeletal imaging and intervention. He sees a diverse range of patients including celebrities, elite athletes and professional dancers and actors from the West End stage. He works very closely with some of the leading physiotherapists and orthopaedic consultants and was selected to work with the dancers of the BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ the last two seasons. He offers the full spectrum of bone and joint imaging and guided injection therapies including steroid injections and platelet rich plasma therapy. In addition to his private practoice, he is also the clinical lead in interventional radiology and MSK imaging at Imperial College Healthcare.
Dr Qazi has an exceptionally diverse medical career. Originally qualifying in medicine in 1994 from Imperial College London, he read for an MD in HIV Medicine & Immunology at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, prior to beginning specialist radiological training in 2003. In 2008, following his election as a fellow to the Royal College of Radiologists, he underwent sub-speciality training in interventional radiology, at King’s College, London. In November 2009, Dr Qazi was appointed consultant interventional & musculoskeletal radiologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
Subsequently, in 2013 he completed academic enrichment fellowships in musculoskeletal radiology at the world renowned Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, followed by a visiting fellowship at the University of California in San Diego & Los Angeles working under the auspices of Chief of Osteology professor Donald Resnick. He is committed to expanding the repertoire of treatments he offers with brand new pioneering interventions and treatments. He is actively involved in a number of research projects as lead radiologist, as well as audits assessing the effectiveness of newly-introduced services. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles and has lectured both nationally and internationally.
