Mr Nigel Mercer is a renowned plastic surgeon with an esteemed career of many achievements. His range of specialities covers aesthetic procedures of both the face and body. This includes, but is most certainly not limited to, eyelid surgery, gynaecomastia (male breast reduction), rhinoplasty, scars and keloids, breast surgery, abdominoplasty surgery and body contouring.

What's more, Mr Mercer has garnered a national reputation for his expertise in performing facelifts and developing his "short scar" technique. He is also expertly trained and practised in paediatric surgery, which involves craniofacial reconstruction.

His medical training took place at Bristol University Medical School and in the years after graduating in 1980, he became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons. His plastic surgery training includes training at the Mount Vernon Hospital in London, an internationally renowned plastic surgery hospital. He attends private patients at 58 Queen Square in Bristol among other private clinics and as part of the NHS Trust.

He has a professional membership with many institutions within the plastic surgery field and has been a president of BAAPS (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons).
