Professor Paresh Malhotra is the Head of the Division of Neurology at Imperial College London and an Honorary Consultant Neurologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT). After studying medicine at Oxford, he underwent specialist training in Neurology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (Queen Square) and ICHT. Following a Cognitive Neurology fellowship in Sydney, he was appointed to a clinical and academic Consultant position at Imperial in 2011, where he combines his clinical work with research.
His research programme focuses on memory and cognitive disorders, with particular expertise in their diagnosis and the development of new treatments. In addition to his clinical work, Professor Malhotra serves on several national dementia committees and is involved in advancing the understanding and management of cognitive disorders. His contributions to both research and clinical practice have made him a leading figure in the field of neurology.
