Mr Raghavan Sampath is a highly experienced consultant ophthalmologist based in Leicester. He currently practices privately at The Stoneygate Eye Hospital, specialising in cosmetic eyelid and upper face surgery, cataract surgery, uveitis, lacrimal surgery and orbital disease. His NHS practice is at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.

He has been a consultant for many years in Leicester and has built an impressive reputation. He has also won many honours and awards, published many papers and is an honorary senior lecturer at the University Hospitals of Leicester.

Furthermore, Mr Sampath is one of the very few consultants who offer The LENTIS® Mplus; the only presbyopia lens with HD-vision and the new standard in refractive lens surgery. He is also one of the few surgeons in the UK who performs around one thousand specialist surgical procedures every year on the eyelid, lacrimal and orbit and surrounding structures. With over fifteen years of specialist training and experience, Mr Sampath has a solid understanding of eyelids and surrounding structures and functions.

Aside from his consultancy work, Mr Sampath also dedicated his time as an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and reviewer of the Eye Journal - the official journal of The Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
