Dr Rick Fraser is an esteemed consultant psychiatrist based in Brighton who specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental conditions in young adults, such as autism, ADHD and tic disorders, as well as any presenting co-occurring conditions, such as OCD, depression and anxiety disorders.
Dr Fraser is an internationally-accredited specialist with over 30 years’ experience. He originally qualified from the University of London in 1989 and completed his psychiatry training at the Maudsley Hospital and the Institute of Psychiatry.
Dr Fraser has worked within Early Intervention in Psychosis services since, firstly in Australia as medical director and then in Sussex, UK as clinical director. He served as chief medical officer for Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust from 2017 to 2021, and is now clinical lead for the Trust’s 16-25 Pathway.
Dr Fraser offers a range of evidence-based, safe and multidisciplinary interventions alongside medical and social prescribing, and psychoeducation. He is on the GMC’s specialist register for child and adolescent psychiatry, as well as on the specialist register in Australia via the RANZCP as a general adult psychiatrist.
