Dr Shetty was very understanding and empathetic of the pain that I had been suffering with and the journey I had been on with all of the other medications and therapies I had tried and which failed. He was easily able to put my mind at ease and answered any question I asked. Dr Shetty gave me a lot of information which enabled me to make a decision that I was totally comfortable with and I knew exactly what to expect and when. I can’t fault Dr Shetty in any way

I saw Dr Shetty today with regards to facet joint arthropathy and he examined and diagnosed my condition thoroughly with immense proffesionalism and explained his protocol using the SCS to alleviate and treat my pain symptoms. I have had no previous experience of pain management support, so had nothing on which to base any expectations. From our first meeting Dr Shetty made me, as his patient, the sole focus of his attention. He asked questions and listened attentively to my responses, offering clear explanations of the structures and processes that he would follow, until a positive result could be achieved. Dr Shetty has a calm manner that put my husband and I at ease at each point of contact. He is able to move easily between the necessary conversation related to the medical issue at hand and maintain a level of personal conversation that makes one relaxed under challenging circumstances.

I visited Dr Shetty after a long back and forth with various consultants regarding ongoing chronic pelvic and lower back pain post an endometriosis excision surgery. Dr Shetty took so much time to listen to my experience, recognise the challenges I was facing and demonstrate that he cared about my health. I never felt like 'just a patient'. I am so thankful that I have left feeling that the door is open if I need it in future and was particularly grateful that Dr Shetty made sure I was aware of all my options moving ahead rather than despairing that I was at a dead end. Doctor Ashrish Shetty is a highly skilled individual who gained my confidence to allow him to fit a spinal stimulator for me. He listens and used his skill to perform with great care an operation for me that has allowed me to have some wonderful less painful times now. I would recommend him to anyone and say you can trust him totally.

I would like to express my sincere gratefulness to this very kind, caring and compassionate Doctor, ( Professor Shetty ), who was instrumental in helping me to be able to gain my life back by being able to move around again.This is because I have been suffering with Pelvic Pain over 7 years as a result of Inflammatory condition as I have reached the Pre-Menopausal period and affecting the Gynecological area and as a result I was unable to stand on my legs when the pain and burning sensation strucked me and as such forcing me to sit down and wait for a long time for the pain to subside if any at all with no cure or even Medication to reduce the symptoms a little bit. After many years of suffering a Biopsy of the area revealed the symptoms were as a result of some kind of Skin Inflammation which may affect some Women during Menopause. When introduced to this Doctor, he was amazing with great confidence establishing what the problem is and what best can it be helped. He decided to do a Nerve Root Injection through steady stages to ensure optimum result. Now, I am much much better through his support and have regained my life back again with over 90% improvement after the procedure. I honestly, cant thank this very lovely Doctor enough for what he has done for me by transforming my life for the better.

Great experience as a first timer. Professor Shetty has always been very friendly and helpful. I am especially thankful to him for taking his time to explain my conditions as well as my treatment options. Dr Shetty provided great care and treatment. With the nerve root block procedure, I was able to recover from chronic pelvic pain, where I had stopped exercising and was often not socialising due to the pain. After a few procedures, the pain slowly started to regress. Today, I go running every single day and am able to go out whenever I wish. Dr Shetty was able to provide support throughout the process and provide guidance as required.

After years of leg pain and seeing multiple medical specialists it took one initial conversation with Dr Ash Shetty and a small procedure to fix my problem.Within a couple of weeks my pain slowly reduced and now I have my full mobility back. What made the difference- Dr Shetty listened to the problem that I was having and patiently heard everything that I had to say before making his recommendation.

Dr., Shetty is one of a few senior consultant anaesthetists with special interest in chronic pain management and treatment. He is highly qualified and experienced consultant. I thank him for exercising his expertise in treating my long standing chronic back pain. I will always remember his willingness to help me during his limited time. Due to an injury sustained to my neck in the autumn of 2018, I developed a tremor in my right arm/hand. The pain of this was horrendous along with a very visible movement in my hand which prevented me from doing many everyday tasks. I had tried various medications but had adverse side effects and didn't achieve any ease in symptoms. My neurologist recommended for me to see Dr Shetty; I had my first consultation with him in March 2019; I saw him privately at Queen's Square. From the onset it was most evident that Dr Shetty is a doctor who wants the best possible outcome for his patients. He listened attentively to what the problem was and gave an individualised treatment plan. I immediately started external neuromodulation with him and I couldn't believe how quickly my symptoms improved and how the tremor stopped. I have had five sessions to date and between each session, the length of time having no tremor and the reduced pain levels, is gradually improving. External neuromodulation is such a simple treatment to receive yet so effective. There are no horrendous side effects unlike with medication! After each session of external neuromodulation, Dr Shetty has allowed me to experience immediate reduced pain and have no tremor - something which I didn't think was possible before March 2019! A lot of people only need three sessions; I am more complex and I know I will continue to need external neuromodulation in the future but Dr Shetty has provided me with so much hope! He is a fabulous doctor who is truly committed - he even walked across London in heavy rain to ensure I received external neuromodulation treatment! In summary I am amazed at what a 20 minute session of external neuromodulation can achieve; I am so thankful to be under Dr Shetty's amazing care.

I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Shetty, from the initial consultation and throughout my treatment he listened carefully and created a bespoke treatment plan. At every stage I was kept fully informed, he answered any and all queries fully. His manner throughout was considerate and compassionate, at all times putting my needs first. Dr Shetty exudes kindness and care and one knows that he has the ability to cure. Each time I have come away from his sessions I have been relieved of pain. I am confident he will cure Me. He is a truly remarkable man and should be treasured for his ability. I feel most fortunate to be in his care. There can be no improvement to Dr. Shetty himself but there should be more resources for training of people of his ability and for research. There should be more of an understanding that pain is a total subject especially with Glossopherangeal Neuralgia which is horrendous. Unless it has been experienced either as the patient or a close onlooker then people have no idea what it is like. In my experience the majority of medical people have not heard of this condition but are then amazed to hear of the result of Dr. Shetty’s Pain Management. It is a quite amazing experience.

I had approached Dr Ash after an episode of debilitating back pain. He was travelling at the time, but advised me of doses for the off-the-shelf pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs until he returns. This episode was symptomatic of an earlier sports injury about a year ago that had left me helpless for a few months eventually resolved by a spinal injection of sorts. It was worrying to say the least but Dr. Ash was quick in his diagnosis and this incident died down in a matter of 2-3 days was caused by muscle spasm possibly brought on by a recent delayed-uncomfortable-longhaul-night flight-with kids. Importantly, Dr Ash spent time to go through how to manage injuries such as this in future, what to expect, when to get alarmed, vital information.
