Mr Chidi Ekwobi

Mr Chidi Ekwobi is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon currently practicing at Ramsay Healthcare. He specialises in breast reduction, breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, breast reconstruction, skin lesions and liposuction. He graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2000 and completed his higher plastic surgery training in Manchester and Preston.

After his training, he gained experience through fellowships at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, specialising in microsurgery for breast reconstruction and head & neck reconstruction. He worked as a consultant at The Royal Marsden Hospital before joining The Royal Preston Hospital in 2016. Currently serving as the clinical lead for burns and trauma, Mr Ekwobi is actively involved in the education of trainee surgeons. He was appointed as the training programme director for plastic surgery for HEE North West in 2022.
