Mr Ian Ambrose

Mr Ian Ambrose is a highly skilled consultant ophthalmologist with a wealth of experience in the field. His expertise lies in glaucoma surgery and complex cataract surgery. He also specialises in glaucoma, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, laser eye surgery, and selective laser trabeculoplasty. 

Mr Ambrose graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2009, where he was notably awarded an exhibition scholarship prize. His commitment to excellence began early in his career. He completed his training as an ophthalmologist in the Wessex region, gaining comprehensive knowledge and skills in eye care.

As the glaucoma service lead for Hampshire Hospitals NHS trust, he plays a pivotal role in managing glaucoma services across the region.
