Dr Mudiyur Gopi is a highly respected consultant paediatrician with a special focus on child allergies, including food and respiratory allergies. and

He earned his medical degree from Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University in India in 1995 before relocating to the UK, where he became a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) in 2001. His dedication to advancing his expertise led him to complete a Master’s degree in child health at the University of Leeds in 2007, followed by a Master’s degree in allergy from Imperial College London.

In recognition of his contributions, he was made a Fellow of the RCPCH in 2014. Dr Gopi initially joined as a locum consultant paediatrician in 2008 and transitioned to a full-time consultant role in 2009. In 2015, he specialised further, becoming a consultant paediatrician with a special interest in allergy. He currently serves as the chief clinical information officer for the Paediatric Allergy Service at East Cheshire NHS Trust, overseeing the delivery of high-quality allergy care for children.
