Mr Raman Malhotra is an award-winning, esteemed consultant ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon, specialising in cosmetic and oculoplastic surgery. He practises at a number of clinics across London and Sussex where he provides a wide range of ophthalmic and oculoplastic surgery to a very high standard. Mr Malhotra graduated at the University of Bristol and continued his training and experience in London and in Oxford. He undertook oculoplastic specialist fellowship training in Adelaide, Australia before returning to the UK, to take up a consultant post at the world-renowned Queen Victoria Hospital in Sussex.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Malhotra is dedicated to education, where he plays a leading role in helping to train the next generation of ophthalmologists, by sharing his knowledge and expertise in his field. He has designed and developed a number of tools and techniques to advance the practice in his field, that have now been adapted internationally.
He is recognised internationally as an expert in eyelid filler treatment for both cosmetic and functional indications. Mr Raman Malhotra has an international reputation in facial palsy rehabilitation, ptosis surgery, complex eyelid reconstruction and is one of a limited number of surgeons in the UK who perform paediatric endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) surgery.
