Mr Ramesh Nair is a distinguished consultant neurosurgeon, renowned for his expertise in pituitary and skull base tumours, aneurysms, meningiomas, acoustic neuromas, and neurovascular surgery. His practice is located across three locations in London: the London Clinic, the Cromwell Hospital, and the Charing Cross Hospital.
 
Mr Nair completed his initial medical studies at the University of Kerala, India and his as well as his training in general surgery, orthopaedics, and neurosurgery. In 1996, he became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and in 2002 he undertook a one-year clinical fellowship at Fujita Health University in Japan in skull-base and neurovascular surgery. Upon returning to the UK, Mr Nair furthered his training at Oldchurch Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital over the following four years while also performing his duties as a senior consultant neurosurgeon at Lakeshore Hospital in Kochi, Kerala. Since 2010, he has been a consultant neurosurgeon at Charing Cross Hospital.
 
Additionally, Mr Nair is also a founding member and current secretary of the International Academy of Neurosurgical Anatomy (IANA). Mr Nair has a reputation with his peers and patients alike as a skilled and passionate surgeon even outside his clinical practice; by taking part in clinical research trials, having several publications in esteemed peer-reviewed journals, and being a faculty speaker at national and international conferences, Mr Nair is an active contributor to neurosurgical advancement.
