Miss Sarah Tang is a consultant breast surgeon in London, practicing at New Victoria Hospital. She is a fantastic doctor. Once she knows what you have you know that we will be in the right way.
I would certainly recommend her for breast surgery because I have been attended by her but I am sure she will be a good doctor for other things. And she is very attentive with the patience.

I was blessed to become one of Miss Tang’s patient a few months ago. She is a wonderfully kind person and an excellent surgeon. My family and I are impressed with her professionalism and outstanding practice. From day one, she made sure that we were properly informed about my health and she has always explained everything to us in a very clear manner. Not only did she made me feel supported but also cared for. She is always friendly, thoughtful, and puts our concerns first. I could not speak more highly of her.

I am so glad I found Miss Tang to do my operation. At my initial consultations, Miss Tang was respectful and listened carefully. She explained the procedure, my options and its benefits and risks thoroughly. I felt very safe going into my surgery and am extremely pleased with the results so far. Dr Sarah Tang is the BEST Dr any patient will ever have. She is RARE as she is truly gifted in what she does. She’s naturally in tune with patients and has empathy for each and every individual journey. Extremely professional and give you the best advise as well as reassurance. It’s an HONOUR to have been under her care and and a HUGE asset to NHS. We NEED Dr’s like Dr Tang b’cos she makes a life long difference in our lives. I went to Sarah Tang for a breast reduction at St Georges. This was during the pandemic so there was a longer wait time but she was amazing. Given that most of my experience had been really hard through the NHS and lots of people not taking me seriously or demanding 'why' or loads of info about my trauma that must have lead me there etc etc the whole process was really tough at points. But once I got to her all my anxiety was put aside. She was very reassuring really professional and she just treated me as a patient who she believed which I really appreciated. Up until that point I was getting a lot of comments about my age and breast feeding etc which to be frank wasn’t fair and wasn’t for others to comment on. She didn’t give me any of that nonsense, the funding was approved by my local CCG so she purely operated from the perspective of I was having the operation and she was going to give me the best medical care she could to me. Which she did. I was actually referred to her due to a re-referral from Kingston and they (Kingston) were so horrible to me in my consultation I raised a complaint with PALS. Dr Tang gave me really good advice and was very good at managing my expectations through quite a big life decision. I had to put all my trust in her and she did an amazing job. I went from a 32G to a 32C and I am very happy. She noticed that my breasts were not very full and actually I had a lot of excess skin so she advised to remove some tissue (to stop them from sagging again in the future) but mostly skin. As a result she was able to give me a lolly pop scar whilst reducing the breasts significantly and I didn’t need any drains and went back to work after 2 weeks. The scar healed wonderfully and is very minimal. I also kept nipple sensation and have returned to all my usual activities. For a breast reduction I can’t recommend her enough she does great work.

I was diagnosed with DCIS and allocated Dr Tang as my surgeon. She was amazingly informative explaining with patience and clarity all the pros and cons of my treatment options. She listened to any queries or concerns I had and supported the decision I made to have a double mastectomy. As a nervous patient she made me feel safe and confident of the outcome. The surgery went very well and I have had no issues so far.
Before my surgery, I found out that one of my neighbour's had also recently been through breast cancer and that Dr Tang had been her surgeon. She assured me that I was in good hands and she was right. Dr Tang's expertise and understanding has made what could have been a nightmare into a painless experience.

Dr Sarah Tang explained everything about my operation to me very clearly, and was happy to answer any questions I had. She has an extremely calm and pleasant manner, which was very comforting. She came to see me while I was in recovery and reassured me that the operation had gone well. She has always explained to me what will happen and roughly when it could be expected to happen. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Sarah Tang
