If mr sandhu wasn’t a great, caring, trustworthy consultant, he would surely have no problem in having another great career as a COMEDIAN. To make a patient laugh out loud in serious times is a special talent & very reassuring. Thank you mr sandhu. Peter Mc D.

I have been seeing Mr. Sandu since 2015 when he diagnosed my Bladder Cancer. He has treated me for four TURBT procedures and numerous cystoscopy. The Cancer is now gone and I see him regularly for monitoring by cystoscopy. Therefore his treatment was successful! He took my wife and I through a very stressful time very smoothly. Explianig all procedures fully at all times and ensuring we understood. he has always taken greta care to explain to my wife fully the results of any procedures which has been very reassuring. I have not had any problems after any of the procedures.

I had a lump on my kidney and Dr Sandhu discussed thoroughly all the options (monitoring/removal) and answered all of my questions so i could make an informed decision of how to proceed. Everything was discussed in a calm, friendly and good humoured manner. The procedure to remove was difficult due to the position of my kidney but everything went perfectly and my recovery was very swift. The team supporting Dr Sandhu were of an equally high calibre - i would highly recommend.

I was diagnosed with a very enlarged bladder following a CT scan at Kingston Hospital. I was informed that Mr Sandhu had recommended a TURP operation on my prostate to improve flow and hopefully lead to the bladder returning to normal. It came as a shock as I had few symptoms. I decided to have treatment on BUPA with Mr Sandhu carrying out the operation. In the pre op consultation Mr Sandhu went through with my wife and I our concerns and questions with patience and empathy and gentle humour. His confidence and reassurance of the likely positive outcome allayed most of my fears. Throughout the lead up to the operation and afterwards , Mr Sandhu ensured all tests needed were done promptly and always kept me up to date on the results and what would be happening next. The operation itself was a success restoring my urine flow to that of a young man and the bladder is emptying again fully for the first time in probably a few years. I would highly recommend Mr Sandhu not only for his great skill as a surgeon but also his management of a nervous patient .

Mr Sandhu was incredibly caring, he explained everything clearly and made me feel at ease with my TURPS procedure. The after care received from him and the staff on Alexandra Ward was brilliant. I had some painful procedures and was looked after with dignity and respect. Many Thanks

Mr Sandhu was the diagnosing consultant who instigated my treatment, he made my wife and me feel positive, cared for, listened to, and confident that the treatment would give us the best possible outcome. He has a great team, and he is himself extremely personable and charming while giving us complete confidence in his clinical experience and competence. A perfect combination. It is quite an art to make your patient laugh out loud in a consultation about a serious cancer, and we always leave smiling. Mr Sandhu is exceptional and we feel very lucky to be under his care.

I had a partial nephrectomy. A small tumor was removed. I was released the following day because there were no complications. Dr Sandhu had explained to me very calmly and understandably all the details of the operation. I am very pleased with his explanations and the surgery.

I was referred to MR Sandhu by another Consultant Urologist at Kingston Hospital for my TURP OP. I went (privately) to my first consultation, having gone through this treatment only 2 years previous at Epsom Hospital with mixed results, in part due to Kidney Stones and Lithotripsy which did cause additional problems and Urethra blockages resulting in Systoscopy (3 times). MR. Sandhu did indeed remove all remaining stones and cleared the prostate passage to an extent that really created the flow of a young man. I am very pleased. Whilst at Kingston Coombe Wing, I was visited daily and encouraged and any anxieties were laid to rest by MR Sandhu. He checked me out, removed my catheter himself and checked me out the day after. Everything is well, so are all functions which is always a worry. In short, I am very pleased.

I saw Mr Sandhu in February 2013 with severe acute prostatitis and a PSA of 54!, and following analytical tests I had a TURP operation in March to resolve water retention issue. Mr Sandhu reassured me and after a good recovery now 8 months later PSA is normal and I have no problems with water retention with great flow and everything in good working order. I did not know how bad I was with the retention, it sneaks up on you over a number of years and acute prostatitis makes you so ill, but now I am like a new man regards waterworks dept. Mr Sandhu gave me confidence and I thank him so much for a fast, friendly and professional service in solving my problem.
