Dr Shane Roche is an esteemed consultant in general (internal) medicine and specialist in geriatric medicine, providing expert care and attention to patients aged 65+ with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), stroke and Parkinson's alongside Alzheimer's disease, memory disorders and dementia. Dr Roche also runs a community rehabilitation unit for older people at Imperial College Healthcare Trust, and is part of the acute admissions team within the Clementine Churchill Hospital and the St John and St Elizabeth Hospital. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Roche lectures on the diagnosis and management of conditions including Parkinson’s disease, dementia and hypertension, alongside delirium and stroke.
Dr Roche's clinical research, particularly in Parkinson's and dementia, has been published in various peer-reviewed articles, and he's a member of several professional organisations including the Movement Disorder Society, British Geriatrics Society and the British Medical Association. He's also a member (MRCP) and fellow (FRCP) of the Royal College of Physicians London.
