All was great - no comment

1st hip replacement with Stephen in 2018 went very well and still going strong. 2nd one 7 weeks ago feels like it will do the same way. Top Doctor indeed!

Very happy with every contact I have had with Mr Veitch and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone requiring Orthopaedic surgery.

I would totally recommend Mr Veitch as an orthopaedic surgeon. Beyond a few hick ups with getting a date in the diary, the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I was back walking the dog, driving and even (gentle) gardening 6 weeks post operation.

This is my second total hip replacement performed by Mr Veitch. Both procedures have been carried out to the satisfaction levels indicated.

Had knee replacement surgery, Dr Vietch has an excellent bedside manner, brilliant with the elderly. Very good operation all went smoothly and extremely neat stitches / clips resulting in minimal scarring. Would highly recommend Dr Vietch.

Mr Veitch has replaced both my hips at New Hall Hospital. At appointments he gave clear information. He was easy to talk to and I felt I mattered and never rushed. Prior to both operations he came and chatted, putting me at ease and reassured. I feel great now and pain free!!

Mr Veitch was always friendly but professional in manner. He acknowledged that I was a health professional (physiotherapist) and spoke to me in an appropriate manner.

As an NHS patient I could not believe how quick it was to get appointments and only had to wait three and a half weeks for the operation once I had been put on the list. It was well worth the journey.

Better opportunities to return useful aids lent after surgery (e.g. shoe horn, raised loo seat).

The treatment i have received from Mr Veitch and his team has been impeccable. The operation, post-op care and the way every thing has healed could not have gone better. This operation has literally changed my quality of life. I thank everyone involved.

I was very happy with the treatment l received

I had a very long wait in the Xray department on my last appointment. When being discharged, my husband and I also had a long wait, because the main reception did not keep us properly informed. Mr Veitch has been excellent throughout.

I am very pleased with my right hip replacement - range of movement and strength almost fully restored after 6 weeks and a much smaller scar and change in appearance of the op area than expected. The pre op explanation put me at ease too.

Really excellent service and all of the staff were most helpful . Mr Veitch was both helpful and encouraging both before and after my hip replacement I could not rate him nmore highly... thank you for taking away my pain.
