Dr Vaclav Dostal is a highly reputable and experienced consultant neurologist, specialising in conditions such as multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's disease, migraine, peripheral neuropathy, movement disorders, and epilepsy, amongst many other neurological disorders. He currently practises at both the Global Clinic Norwich as well as the Spire Norwich Hospital.
Dr Dostal successfully completed his undergraduate training at the Palacky University Olomouc in the Czech Republic after obtaining an MD from said university in 1995. He would then go on to undertake further undergraduate training at the esteemed Charles University and the Institute of Postgraduate Education in Prague. He officially qualified as a consultant neurologist in 2009 after passing both of his two required board examinations in neurology.
Dr Dostal boasts being able to provide his patients with botulinum toxin treatment for dystonia, and can also perform diagnostic lumbar punctures. The mightily skilled neurologist is an honorary consultant neurologist at James Paget University Hospital in Great Yarmouth, where he practises once a month at his botulinum toxin clinic.
Not only that, but Dr Dostal is so too an honorary lecturer at the University of East Anglia, a clinical supervisor at the Norwich Norfolk University Hospital, and a member of the Parkinson's Disease Specialist Pharmacy Network steering committee. He actively engages in research (which focuses specifically on Parkinson's disease trials) at the Norwich University Hospital.
