Mr Joshi is a kind and caring surgeon, he carried out the arthrosamid injection procedure on my right knee at The Spire Wrexham. He explained everything in detail before and during the procedure and was most considerate.

Mr Joshi provided me with all the guidance I needed to make an informed choice. The options and consequences were set out clearly and every effort was made to ensure that the choice I made was the right one for me. In addition the post operative care and support from the nursing staff and physiotherapists was excellent. My sincere thanks to everyone that supported me through my operation.

Mr Joshi and his team performed a compartmental knee replacement on my right knee. This operation has completely transformed my whole quality of life. Before the operation, my days and nights, were affected by the joints pain and discomfort. Painkillers were the daily norm. Now whilst I understand that I will never have the knee I was born with, this replacement is far superior to the one that mine had deteriorated into.

He explained all the options pro's and con's so we were fully aware of our options. He is caring and understanding and it made the whole process a lot easier. Thank you Mr Joshi.

Mr Joshi did my knee replacement in July and I have to say the care I received was second to none. Mr Joshi explained everything the operation entailed and put me at ease straightaway. I wouldn’t think twice about having any more treatment with him I would do so straightaway. He is a lovely, caring man and his whole team reflects this also. My whole experience and care was excellent from start to finish, and I am so grateful he did my surgery.

I had a right HTO (osteotomy) performed by Mr Joshi on the 06/03/2019. After numerous operations over the years removing bits of cartlige and meniscus it was decided i would have the above procedure. I had never heard of an osteotomy before but Mr Joshi put me at ease and explained everything. I really felt i was in good hands. Due to the covid restrictions i received a telephone consultation off Mr Joshi whilst i was in the gym doing leg strengthening exercises. I am nearly two years post surgery and the operation has certainly improved my ability to keep up with kids when we are out and about. I highly recommend Mr Joshi. Many Thanks. Barry Lewis

I had a partial knee replacement performed by Mr Joshi for my arthritic knee. The procedure was explained to me in great detail beforehand and Mr Joshi listened to my worries and concerns carefully. I found him to be a very caring and considerate surgeon and I am very grateful for the care and thought he put into making my procedure as minimally invasive as possible.

I had knee replacement under the care of Mr Joshi.Very sucessful operation and after a long wait to get this procedure I am delighted to be pain free.Mr Joshi is a very caring consultant being easy to talk to and has a caring and calming attitude to patients. He explains the procedure in detail putting patients at ease and fully aware of what they can expect. After my operation Mr Joshi ensured that I was comfortable and I was most impressed with his aftercare. All in all my stay in hospital was most satisfactory and now thanks to Mr Joshi my mobility is much improved.I have spoken to many of Mr Joshi's patients and we all agree what a caring, approchable consultant he is and the hospital are very fortunate to employ him.The only downside to the hospital itself is tge extremely long waiting lists especialy for orthopeadics so if something could be done to reduce waiting lists at the Maelor hospital that would be most welcome to patients.

Mr Joshi has been very caring and worked with me on every detail of my broken leg. It was not the usual break of my tibia so I was very worried about the operation. He explained in detail all the pros and cons of the operation and the after care that I would need to do myself at home. I had regular appointments and regular exray’s so I could see my progress , this helped me to adjust to realising that I had to take my time. It has all payed off as after 11 weeks he has signed me off. I am now starting to walk with only one stick. I am now doing very well with the help of physio therapy. He has said that if there is a problem I can phone his secretary for an appointment. He is going to see me in twelve months time. He is a very gentle person that I feel I can talk to and ask any questions about my care, I trust him. I am very lucky that he is my surgion.

Mr Joshi is exceptional in everyway. I am a retired accident and emergency sister so have a good understanding of medicine. I had a fall due to an illness and sustained a particularly nasty complicated fracture of my distal femur. Some consultants have a very superior attitude. He has an exceptional bed side manner, very kind and thoughtful, explaining everything in great detail. He always smiles and is very kind and considerate keeping you informed at all times. He showed me x rays and explained exactly what he had done and why. I was in theatre for 5 hours and believe it was a very challenging time trying to repair the damage. I asked lots of questions and never once felt I was being a nuisance. I trusted him totally and would recommend him to anyone, he is an asset to the NHS.

I found Mr Joshi and his team to be very caring and thoughtful to mine and my wife's needs. Any questions or queries we had Mr Joshi took the time to explain everything to us, in particularly meeting with us just before the operation to reassure us. The whole experience was excellent the team including the nursing staff and specialised district nurses who visited me at home were again excellent and very caring. I would recommend Mr Joshi and his team very highly to anyone who needs a knee replacement operation

I recently had Total Knee Replacement surgery performed by Mr Joshi and am delighted with the outcome. My knee had been painful and unstable for several years. Now, 3 months after the operation, the joint has settled down and is pain free and stable. I can walk and drive without problem. My quality of life has improved. Mr Joshi has a kind, patient and re-assuring manner. The pre and post operative care and attention I received from him and his team was first class. The atmosphere in the operating theatre immediately pre-op was calm, efficient and friendly. The staff on Prince of Wales Ward were excellent also. Thank you Mr Joshi! Ray Kelly (age 73)

From the moment I arrived in Prince of Wales Ward on the morning of my total knee replacement operation to my discharge 3 days later, the treatment I received was excellent. Mr Joshi visited after my operation to see how I was and to say the x-ray was fine. He visited again each morning and his assistant each evening. All the nursing staff were excellent and certainly helped towards recovery. The physiotherapists were very persuasive, encouraging me to do more than I thought I could do. Mr Joshi is an excellent surgeon and an asset to the hospital. Well Wrexham Maelor Hospital. Ten out of Ten.

I had a partial knee replacement and i cannot fault Mr Joshi, from the initial consultation with him, the operation and follow up, all went to plan, had the operation and was let out of hospital the next day. and now 3 months later i'm almost back to normal with my walking, just need to speed up a bit, but that's only getting the muscles working again after years of dormancy.

My experience with my total knee replacement from beginning to end has been wonderful. From constant pain and discomfort to today not even noticing my knee as being any different from normal, the transformation has been incredible. Mr Joshi from the first clinical meeting has always been calm and reassuring with an amazing smile to put your fears at rest. His manner has always been exemplary in every way. He explained everything about the operation and aftercare really well. There was some pain afterwards but that was well managed by the nursing staff and I looking forward to Mr Joshi sorting my other knee out too. I should mention that the care I received from all of the nursing, physio and catering staff was absolutely first class.

Mr Joshi took care of my 15-year-old son who had never experienced anything like this before. He listened carefully to all of our concerns and showed great compassion. He also fully explained to us what was going on, and what we could expect, and was incredibly supportive. I can't recommend or thank Mr Joshi enough for his warm, kindly and above all professional approach and his care.

I found Mr Joshi very easy to talk to and very understanding of my fears . He was reassuring and put me at ease before and after my knee replacement. The one thing I would like to add is that although I went to the Joint school and was told to expect pain, they type of pain wasn't explained fully. However when I saw Mr Joshi at the clinic, very stressed about the type of pain I was experiencing, he immediately put my mind at rest that everything was normal. At the joint school a chap came to tell us about his experience but according to him, everything went well . I feel one needs to know exactly what sort of pain to expect.

Mr Joshi proved to be one of the best specialists I’ve encountered- plenty of time to discuss what would be done during my knee replacement and gave me every opportunity to ask various questions relating to it. He was very reassuring on the day of the operation and afterwards. The operation was a complete success and I feel very confident that the next replacement will go just as well. Mr Joshi is a thoroughly likeable person, friendly and capable. I honestly can’t think of a single criticism of him.
