Mr Kia Rezajooi is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spinal Surgeon at Cleveland Clinic London and at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), recognized for his expertise in complex spinal disorders. He previously served as the Clinical Lead of one of Europe’s largest Spinal Surgery Units and played a pivotal role in establishing the North and West London Regional Spinal Network, where he was Chair and Clinical Lead from 2017 to 2021.
Born and educated in London, Mr Rezajooi studied Medicine at Bristol University before completing post-graduate training at St Mary’s Hospital, London, and advanced Neurosurgical training at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN). In 2007, he was appointed to the prestigious NHNN and RNOH Complex Spinal Fellowship, becoming a Consultant at RNOH in 2008 and later its co-director.
Mr Rezajooi earned an MD (Res) degree from University College London in 2011 for groundbreaking research in spinal cord injury repair. He served as Head of Research for the British Association of Spine Surgeons (BASS) from 2018 to 2021 and has advised key organizations such as NICE and NIHR on spinal procedures.
With numerous international publications and lectures, Mr Rezajooi has made significant contributions to the understanding and treatment of spinal cord injuries, myelopathy, spinal tumours, and chronic neck and back pain.

I cannot express fully my gratitude to this lovely man and his team. I was so frightened. Mr Rezajooi was professional, calm, compassionate and honest. He took the time to listen carefully to me, knew my conditions, he managed my expectations and discussed options. I so valued his direct no-nonsense approach.
Mr Rezajooi is so caring, professional and respectful. I would not hesitate in recommending him. My operation was 5 months ago and very successful.

Mr Rezajooi is not only a highly skilled and experienced surgeon who has reintroduced me to an enhanced quality of life, by reducing my pain through surgery, but equally as importantly, he has a relaxed and a compassionate manner, that lends itself to someone in his position, where life-changing decisions need to be presented, discussed and jointly agreed upon, (by patient and healthcare professional), where his calm and relaxed manner, providing patients with all the related material facts, allow informed decisions to be made.

In his specific field of practice, it is critical that one has complete confidence and trust in Mr Rezajooi, which is precisely how I feel.
He is both compassionate and professional, taking the time to listen carefully to his patients; their conditions, their expectations and discuss options, but I particularly value his direct no-nonsense approach, which is sometimes required to reinforce a specific point.
He is extremely caring, consummately professional and extremely receptive to the patient's needs and wants, whilst managing their medical expectations throughout consultations when devising a plan of action, which is why I would recommend him without hesitation.

Mr Rezajooi spent time listening to my daughter and answered any questions slowly. He spoke to her in a kind and caring manner and was so very respectful. We were comfortable with him from the start. He's a lovely warm man and treats you not just as his patient but in a friendly manner which made you feel totally at ease.
I trust Mr Rezajooi with my daughters care 100% and I feel she couldn't be in better hands.
