To whom it may concern I would like to extend my deep thanks and gratitude to Dr Mohamed Elsayed, consultant radiologist, who has very kindly given me valuable advice at difficult time when I was changing from one consultant job to another in the NHS England. The advice was regarding the salary scale grade and how to persist in negotiating with the HR till the matter is settled. In short my experience is, regards the radiology speciality, if you join the NHS as locum consultant through the NHS job website or through an agent, the years of experience for me has been calculated from the year I acquired my master degree. Unfortunately, the agent did not help me at all and did not explain this point, I only knew this when I arrived in the UK and signed the contract then I had to speak with the HR of my first job. When you move from one hospital to another, it is very important to get a document from the HR stating your salary scale point and the year when it will be upgraded. My advice is to negotiate everything from the beginning before you actually move and things then will be complicated. Again I extend my sincere thanks to my fellow colleague Dr Mohamed Elsayed, consultant radiologist. Wishing everyone peace of mind and good health.

I was one of the doctors trained with Dr Elsayad to pass FRCR 2B exam , I had several teaching sessions regarding the viva part which were almost simulating the exam situation , he helped me to develop my approach and how to build a good presentation and self confidence during the exam. In addition to common tips and tricks regarding rapid and long exam part. I was able to pass the exam from the first attempt on January 2024 Dr Elsayad teaching sessions are highly recommended for my colleagues who are preparing to take the FRCR 2B exam.

We took our two children to visit Dr Elsayad for an ultrasound scan at the weekend; each of the boys had a problematic lymph node that we were worried about. Dr Elsayad put us all at ease with his charming manner and laidback demanour. Both our boys were very comfortable to have their scans done and Dr Elsayad put them both at ease throughout the process. Would highly recommend!

It received an injection in my foot for arthritis. I was made to feel at ease throughout by the Dr and the nurse. The whole procedure went very quickly and made me feel at ease. We even discussed what streaming shows we all watched.

I had an ultrasound guided injection in my left shoulder and after 12 weeks of intense pain Dr El Sayad made the pain disappear instantly with a barbotage procedure and all through it he kept asking if I was ok. The care I received you wouldn’t have known I was an NHS patient. Would certainly highly recommend this radiologist as he was very friendly and caring.

Today 14/7/22 I had a steroid injection with the use of xray to my right thumb joint, after having my left thumb joint last week. I have to say although the procedure isn't pleasant more uncomfortable, I found Dr Elsayad extremely professional and reassuring. What's more after only a week I've got no pain and improved movement to my left thumb joint so I hope the same will be true of the right. Thankyou.

Attended one of Dr Elsayad teaching sessions in Radiology and it was excellent. He is so good at making everyone in his audience feel included and listened to. His presentations are always incredibly well put together and he is a great speaker who both inspires and shares his knowledge in a way that everyone can understand. He is doing what no other Clinical Director has done before in Radiology in that he is reaching out to everyone, no whatever what grade or post they hold, to make them feel their opinions matter. He is bringing about positive change for the better and makes his staff feel valued and cared for. These are special skills.

I thank my lucky stars that I was referred to this exceptional Doctor for an Ultra Sound. Dr Elsayad had an air of reassuring confidence that immediately put me at ease. I sustained a deep laceration to my forearm in August 2021 after falling off a ladder whilst pruning a tree. The scar healed but a spot appeared in September that grew bigger and bigger and got infected. As the wound got worse the appointments that I had were brought forward and Dr Elsayad and his lovely colleague Ela managed to squeeze me in between appointments. I saw them both on 26th January 22 and he identified an 8mm twig that had been left inside the wound for 5 months. Whilst carrying out the procedure he explained everything on the screen. He continued and was extremely thorough, thankfully the debris popped out during the Ultra Sound. I will always be grateful to the expertise of Dr Elsayad and very thankful that Ela was on hand too. How lucky was I to receive such fantastic care. Thank you!

We went to the Holly Private Hospital for an appointment for my mother, Farah Haratinia on 2nd of September and I would like to leave some really nice feedback for the Consultant Radiologist who saw us, Dr Mohamed Elsayad. My mother was very nervous about the procedure (US guided injection for her left knee). Dr Elsayad saw her and was very friendly. He was very good at calming her down and was attentive to her concerns. He continued to speak to her during the process and distracted her during the procedure. I was quite nervous about the procedure, as I had been told it was very painful. Dr Elsayad made me feel at ease and reassured me that the procedure was not that bad. He was very gentle and it was a little uncomfortable but nothing like I had anticipated it to be. He also advised me of other treatment options that I was not aware of and I am now looking into those options and will be contacting him again at Holly House to pursue those options.

I came into clinic today for a ultrasound guided knee injection. I had been warned by many friends and colleagues about the pain and myself am terrified of hospitals and needles, and am prone to fainting. Dr Elsayad and his team were brilliant, I really felt they listened to me about my fears and concerns, made me feel entirely at ease and were upbeat and reassuring. He ensured the procedure was seamless, comfortable and it wasn’t painful at all, even changing his approach to my needs. The pain was a mild discomfort at most. I am back in again next week for my other knee, and am no longer scared, I know my care is in good hands and Dr Elsayad is very professional and an expert in his field. Thank you again

I saw Dr Elsayad at The Holly Hospital on 7/9/20 and again today for a guided steroid injection in both feet and ankles. The treatment on both occasions was professional, quick and everything was explained to me step by step. Relief was almost immediate and the long term pain I had in both feet has gone. The Dr was assisted by Louise (nurse) who was friendly, professional and made me feel totally at ease. I highly recommend Dr Elsayad and wouldn't hesitate to see him again.

He is the only doctor I've seen that took the time to ask me how I was feeling. During my abdominal examination he asked in depth questions about my lifestyle, diet, habits and even about my well being to try and ascertain the whole picture and recommended steps I could take following the appointment to improve my gut health and symptoms I have on a regular basis. He explained in depth each part of the scan and was reassuring as well as kind and caring. I really appreciated him taking the time to listen. Would highly recommend.

I saw Dr Elsayed for a steroid injection for shoulder impingement. My shoulder was extremely tight and pressured and was pushing the injection back out. Dr Elsayed perservered patiently and with humour and great care to make the procedure as painless as possible. I particulalrly liked Dr Elsayed's perserverance to complete the procedure fully and this was over and above expectations. Dr Elsayed also spoke about the process, after care, alternative options. All with no rush. The prefect radiologist.

Dr Elsayad was quite simply wonderful during our visit with my daughter who is 5. Straight away he put her at ease, joking & letting her become familiar with the equipment & process During the scan he explained everything very clearly, allowing plenty of time & ensuring that all my questions were answered before we left. Dr Elsayad was very informative, clearly explained the purpose of the Ultrasound and what exactly he was looking for and how it would help my consultant, in addition to the MRI scan. Dr Elsayad also said I should consider a local procedure to remove my ganglion as opposed to surgery under general anesthetic. He explained many of his patients have done this, so I'l be looking at reviews to help me make my decision. Very professional in his approach.

Dr Elsayad listened to my previous experience of having the injection and adapted his approach to make it more comfortable and more effective. He was reassuring and had a great bedside manner. I felt very comfortable during the procedure. The doctor informed and explained to me clearly what he was doing. I would highly recommend it.

Dr Elsayad was fantastic he was very sympathetic to my fear of needles and was very gentle when carrying out the procedure, I didn't feel a thing.

I was very apprehensive about having a steroid injection in my knee as I had been told it's very painful, but I had nothing to worry about the doctor put me at my ease spoke to me all the time whilst doing the procedure which turned out to be nothing more than any other injection . I would highly recommend Dr Mohamed Elsayad to anyone , he answered all my questions before he started.

Dr Elsayad explained exactly what the injection was and the pain was minimal on application. He also recommended other procedures to consider going forward, which was very helpful. I would be more than happy to see Dr Elsayad again when necessary

I attended a teaching session with Dr Elsayad and it was really useful and informative. He presented cases relevant to obstetrics and gynaecology and gave us a systematic and helpful way to interpret them. I would definitely attend more sessions with him in the future!

Dr Elsayad was very calm, thorough with his explanation and showed me where the issue was in my toe joint on the ultrasound machine. His soft nature and detail made me very relaxed. He even provided me with stories to take my mind off of the injection. He explained the side effects in great detail and what to watch out for in the next two days. He also provided me with advice for the future. I very much recommend him.

Dr Elsayad made me feel completely relaxed and at ease as I was quite anxious about my appointment. He was very friendly and explained all the questions I had about the treatment very well. He constantly asked if I was ok during the treatment and he was also very gentle.

The doctor was excellent dealing with my daughter's foot. She had to have an injection in her toe, and felt no pain whilst the product was being injected. He was great at explaining the procedure which re-assured her.

I highly recommend this Doctor he explained what he had found on the scan and then carried out the procedure. The procedure (injection) was 100% successful and I was pleased to get relief for the first time in years. I was made to feel listened too relaxed and well informed so definitely no complaints from me.

Upon entering the room Dr Elsayad was very welcoming . I had a pelvic scan & a internal scan. He made me feel very comfortable by talking me through the procedure & explained everything he was seeing on the scan. I’ve had quite a few scan before & no other doctor has explained in so much detail. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Elsayad by far he is the best at what he does.

Dr Mohamed Elsayad and his team were absolutely fantastic when I went to visit the Nuffield Health in Brentwood. When it comes to anything medical I've always had tendency to feel a bit faint when doctor are having to prod around or injections. As embarrassing as this is Dr Mohamed & his team were so accommodating and patient when it came to doing something that should have been very quick and easy. They were incredibly personable and also very kind. I couldn't recommend Dr Mohamed and his team more. I'm confident to say that you'll be in safe hands.

I went to see Dr Elsayad. I am 83 years old and was petrified. As soon as I met the doctor I felt at ease, anddid not feel the cortisone injection. He’s such a nice man and. Would definitely recommend him. Lilian Wilding

Dr Elsayad is such a lovely doctor with an amazing bed side manner. He was extremely helpful and was really funny too. He helped my ganglion go away which I have been dealing with for a year. He was gently on me and told me that my injections wouldn't hurt, and he was right. They didn't hurt at all. He told me my options of what they can do to help and he helped me choose the right one. I thoroughly recommend Dr Elsayed if you want some one to talk to, trust and someone to help and listen to as he is amazing with children and adults. Thank you!

Excellent radiologist, very thorough and clinically sharp. Has a good academic knowledge so is able to think out of the box and able to make suggestions to us surgeons about any alternative imaging modalities. Wonderful feedback from the patients I have referred to him- very good in dealing with anxious paediatric patients.

This doctor saw me for an injection by ultra Sound. It was to remove a bursa but unfortunately it was soft tissue. He was so kind, gave a beautiful smile and he Put me at ease. Altogether if you happen to have a appointment with him, do not be afraid he’s lovely

Very good caring doctor as was his helper (sorry I don't know her name but she recognised me from 12 months ago). Very good manner, polite, as he was seeing the picture on his monitor I could see the needle when he pointed out where the nerve was and the needle going towards it. He told me about the numbness that will occur but which would subside. Both their punctuality was also good. The appointment was at 9 am and 9 am was when I was seen. The review is given in good faith without liability.

First time at Dr Elsayad and for Ultrasound-guided injection. Wasn't sure what to expect but he was very clear, describing what he was doing and why, how it would help etc. Answered my few questions, and provided a surprisingly pain-free experience. Obviously he is very practiced at this procedure.

I have been to see Dr Elsayed on three occasions to date with one further treatment for ultrasound guided injections. On the first appointment was very nervous as my GP and Rheumatologist had said it will probably be a very painful treatment. Dr Elsayed explained the procedure and was very calming putting me at ease. I now know what to expect and it is not as bad as was hinted to me before my appointments. Overall, I have found Dr Elsayed very profession, caring and I would recommend him to anyone requiring these guided injections. When they are so close to organs etc, you need 100% trust and I have that. Many thanks Dr Elsayed, this treatment has meant I can now get my life back on track and on my bicycle. Thank you.

This Dr was amazing . He drained blood from my wound and I was very nervous. He explained every step of the way during the procedure. He was very caring during the scan and procedure. I did not feel any pain . I would recommend him again and again.

I was seen by Dr Mohamed Elsayad at Queens Hospital yesterday for my medical condition. He was very professional, appeared very experience, listened to my concerns and explained clearly to me what was seen on my ultra sound scan. He explained all the pain relief/recommendation options to me. I felt so at ease with him and confident that my pain options would enable me to cope with managing my work and home live better. He made me feel confident and convince straight away that I would get better. I would surely recommend him to family and friends should they need to be seen by a ultra sound Doctor.

I had an appointment with Dr Elsayad today, he was totally professional and polite, explaining in detail what he was going to do and the pros and cons of the procedure. I had another question which was not related to what he was doing but he was more than happy to investigate and explain what he saw which help to put my mind at rest. Cannot praise this Dr enough.
