I have had excellent care from a friendly, committed and knowledgeable professional. I absolutely trust him and have benefited by his skill and sensitive recognition of personal circumstances. He has looked after me and advised me on my specs, contact lenses and cataract surgery and is good at finding a way to make things work. Brilliant optometrist.

I went to this optometrist for a second opinion on a diagnosis of an eye condition. After a thorough examination, using wonderfully state-of-the-art equipment and machines, Mr Patel diagnosed a different condition, later confirmed by a leading consultant at Moorfields Eye Hospital, who praised Mr Patel's report. Mr Patel was both professional and kind when he explained both conditions by using both my own scans and scans from the Internet. Despite some fairly devastating news re my eye health, I left feeling confident I was in good hands. I wholeheartedly recommend this optometrist.

I have complex issues with my eyes, so dealing with someone who really knows what they are doing while at the same time listening to me is crucial. Sachin has done this for me for at least a decade. He has also invested in sophisticated technology so he can properly track and understand what is going on with my eyes.

I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Sachin Patel. He has been my optometrist for many years and also looks after several members of my family as well as friends. I have complete confidence in the skilled care he provides and have absolute trust in him to give me the best possible advice. He Is highly experienced and the practice uses the latest equipment. I attended to see Mr Patel on my friends advice having followed him from wigmore street. I was suffering with dry eyes for over a decade and had seen many opticians and hospital appointments who would recommend drops and home treatment. Mr Patel uses a modern in-house eye cleaning technique which gives instant results for a fraction of the cost of the daily regime I have to do and it actually works! You can tell he really knows his stuff. Highly recommended and worth the trip from east london!

I have received excellent support and advice from Mr Sachin Patel at Safarian and Simon. Mr Patel's expertise is impressive and what makes him exceptional is his personal concern for the client, the detailed individual care he gives and his generosity with his time. He is courteous, kind and friendly. Questions are answered thoughtfully and I have never felt rushed or as if I am a nuisance! The lenses and glasses I have had have worked very well for me. I highly recommend this excellent optician.

I was impressed by the optometrist's professionalism, warm courtesy and efficiency, and all the super high tech equipment which he used so competently and confidently, and how he appears to be at the cutting edge of treatments, including tackling the now ubiquitous problem of blepharitis. I really appreciated how he showed everything to me on the screen and explained everything.

Sachin was a great help. This is the first time I have needed glasses so I wanted to have my condition explained to me clearly. I wasn't rushed and Sachin made time to see me over a period of two weeks in order to provide the best possible evaluation. I really felt looked after and in good hands. There was no hard sale and all the staff in Safarian & Simon were highly professional. I am very pleased to have found this practice and will be using them for my annual check up. I am actually quite excited to collect my new glasses! A big thank you from me.

Mr Patel has been my Optometrist for 10 years and was sad to see him leave Wigmore street, I am glad I found him on the internet search as Boots told me they did not know where he was (even though they do!). I am very happy that he has managed to set up his own practice and having seen the hi-tech equipment he has I can see why he left. I had a 4D eye scan which was great reassurance all is well with my eyes. I highly recommend him and its only two tube stops away from his old clinic. If you are an old patient of his, make sure you get your old notes (not just prescription) as its the best way to monitor your eye health-which is what Mr Patel ethos is all about.

Mr Sachin Patel not only knows his specialist subject very well but he also shows his enthusiasm for the job and communicates it very well to the patient, in my case, that is. Improvements are difficult to imagine - I think he should be cautious in respect of his proposed refurbishment of the premises. I'm not sure whether the neighbourhood will take too kindly to an all black-painted exterior.

Sachin is one of the best Optometrists that I have for more than a decade. I have worked with him and been his patient. I took my mum to see him and he is still the best. He is a great clinician, but more than that he listens and treats his patients like people. I have followed him from Wigmore Street to St. John's Wood and we are very pleased that we did.

I have followed Mr Patel to his new practice in St. Johns wood since he left Boots Wigmore street. For many years I was frustrated with my prescription until my GP who sees him as well recommended him. First time round he got it spot on by understanding my needs and recommending the most suitable varifocal lens for me. I was sad to see he has left wigmore street and attended them in his absence, apparently to see his replacement. Which clearly was not the case as they told me they were covering from another store. Whilst it seemed ‘ok it just lacked that obvious skill and slickness that Mr Patel has, he just makes it look easy whilst the other opticians complicate the eye test. Also, he has a personality with an incredible ability to hold a conversation not just a churned off Robot! In the end I went to see him about my new eye trouble and he explained I do not need a change of prescription but to treat my dry eyes and Blepharitis. Low and behold, two weeks on my old glasses seem absolutely fine! I still came back and ordered some new frames

I was Introduced to Mr. Sachin Patel, by someone at the moorsfield, to order bandage contact lenses from. Previously I had been wearing some lenses that was causing me erosions in the eye every week. Sachin was extremely professional and helpful in indentifying the issue with my lens. He realised The diameter of my previous lens was 14+ And ordered for me a few different options to try but in a smaller diameter. It worked like magic ! Had absolutely no issues with my contacts after moving on to the ones suggested by him. Sachin, makes you feel like a family. As if you are discussing an issue with your family member. He listens to it very carefully and patiently, and treats it as if the problem is with him. With him, it’s not about a one time consultation thing, if you are dissatisfied or unhappy with something he is always willing to promptly see you and respond. From my personal experience, I have seen that For him patient care comes before any thing else ! I am so happy with him that I visit him abroad every two months, and always buy my products through him due to the mutual trust I share with him. He has now moved into a new practice at St. John’s Wood and I have chased him all The way down to the new outlet. Previously I had been seeing him at Boots optician at wigmore. I always tell him, where you go I’ll keep chasing you no matter where you are ! I suggest everyone to go to him. He has the expertise to deal with one of the most complex Issues like I had. You don’t need to sit for hours at the Ophtalmologist when he can resolve most of the issues at his clinic. His knowledge is vast and experience is unmatchable. I can vouch for him that he is the best so far ! By the way I have met several optometrist all over the world due to my extensive travelling.

I was recommended to see Mr Patel by a friend. I found that he was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He was very attentive and listened to me during the eye test. He also gave me eye drops for my conjunctivitis. Overall he made me feel relaxed and explained everything clearly. A great eye test!!

I was devastated when I found that Sachin had left Wigmore Street. I already did not like the fact that the lovely old fashion shop that used to be Dollond and Aitchison had been transformed to a clinical and cold Boots Opticians, but losing Sachin was the last straw. I found him! What I like about Sachin is that not only he is one of the best optometrist I have ever come across but he also really cares. He is not there just to sell you another pair of spectacles, he will actually always recommend what is best for you. I would not go to anyone else.

Glad I found him at his new practice. Attended the boots store in his absence, was given the wrong prescription and mis-sold on my Lindberg glasses. Will be returning those Lindberg to Wigmore street and then off too see Mr Patel in St John’s Wood for a more honest opinion on my eyes.

Mr. Patel had a wonderful bedside manner. He puts your mind at ease and spends time to examine and explains any issue I have with my eyes. My husband and I moved to London from New York city few years ago and after changing 2 optometrist, luckily a friend recommended Mr. Patel. He knows his craft and we trust his diagnosis. I also took my two little boys to him recently and he was amazingly patient with them. My boys thought he was AWSOME too!

I don't have an issue with the optometrist- I have an issue with forced-selling technique at the boots opticians to make me buy expensive glasses from them whereas much better prices exist elsewhere

I cannot thank Mr Sachin Patel enough for the help and incredible patience he has shown me in finding a solution to my contact lens problems. He has offered new alternatives whenever there was something not quite right with my lenses and at all times, he has taken the time to explain to me how my new lenses work . I am finally able to wear lenses to work that allow me to see clearly.

Sachin is a great Optometrist, he is thorough with his health checks and the eye test itself. I feel I can put my full trust in him (knowing a bit about the industry myself) I feel he explains everything in a way that is easy to digest and understand. He takes ownership of the experience and even came to double check the measurements taken by the Dispensing Optician.

Sachin Patel is a very caring and competent optometrist. I travel over a hundred miles for my eye checks and it Is definitely worth the time and effort. He is extremely thorough and explains to me my rather complicated eye problems very clearly and kindly . Also, He seems to have a good rapport with his delightful colleagues. I can highly recommend him.
