Overcoming dental phobia with Dr Sanders

How long have you been a patient of Dr Sanders?
“I first became a patient of Peter Sanders over 35 years ago when I was around 28 years old. I had not long moved to Hampshire and was having a dental emergency and so I rang a 24-hour telephone number. I am an out-and-out dental phobic, and so, going to the dentist has always terrified me.
This all stems back to a horrific experience I had when I was a child which has developed into a high level of dental phobia- in fact, I’d go as far to say- a trauma.” “Pete had just opened his first practice in Hampshire. When he answered, he told me- ‘come straight over’- and that’s how it started.”
How confident are you in his dental care?
“Over the years, I sent my children, my husband and also my mother-in-law to Pete, in fact, my mother-in-law once travelled from Dover to see him! I cannot fault him in anyway. I wouldn’t even consider walking through the door of another dental practice. If Peter retired to the Outer Hebrides – I’d travel to him!”
Why do you value his dental care so highly?
“Not only does Pete look after you, his work is of an extremely high standard. He performed bridge surgery on me over 25-years-ago, which is more than double the life expectancy of that kind of treatment. Of course, at some point it will need replacing, and I’ve had the conversation about implants with Pete. When the time comes, I’ll certainly continue that discussion. I know that he is one of the best dental surgeons and implantologists in the UK.”
“But it’s not just his skill that makes him special.
