I have been seeing Dr Al-Shakarchi for several years regarding my rheumatoid arthritis and have always found her to be thorough and willing to spend the necessary time to explain things carefully, be it about the condition itself or the ramifications of using the medications being recommended. Professional and evidently highly knowledgeable, she also has a manner which is friendly and puts one at ease.

Dr Al-Shakarchi wad absolutely wonderful! I spent a year with various doctors attempting to identify my issues. Dr Al-Shakarchi listened, booked all relevant appointments and hugely helped me understand what I was facing. Dr Al-Shakarchi truly affected my life for the better. Thank you so much ♥️

I have seen al-Shakarchi for 10 years now and find her outstanding in her treatment, she always listens and makes you feel comfortable no matter how busy she might be. I know that when I am having a flare up she will find a way to reduce the pain if possible.
It is a comfort to know that I will see her at each visit as continuity is a vital path to improving health .

Dr Al-Shakarchi is always thoroughly professional, efficient and knowledgeable, whilst being friendly and easy to communicate with. She really listens to me as a patient and offers practical advice as well as helping me with suitable medication. I'm extremely grateful for the excellent and timely care she has given me since my diagnosis with psoriatic arthritis. I couldn't recommend anyone more highly.

I saw Dr Al-Shakarchi today. She was running late but apologised profusely and I really felt she meant it!
She was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. She listened carefully to me and offered a second opinion on my medical condition, which is what I was seeking. She shared her thinking with me and I felt included in that thinking. I left feeling reassured that the treatment I will receive is the right one.

Dr Al-shakarchi has been my consultant for a good few years. She is clearly very knowledgeable in her field and a true professional but manages to balance this with the perfect amount of care and compassion, never forgetting I am a person and not just a disease. I expect I have been a tricky patient at times but her patience never wavers and she always listens to my thoughts and gives me time and space to make a decision about treatment. I would highly recommend her and her team to anyone needing rheumatology care.

Dr Al-Shakarchi takes the trouble to go beyond her remit to find out what's going on in life and health. Her detailed notes are a great help to me in keeping track of my progress and no doubt to other medics looking after me too. Always encouraging, visits and calls also help greatly with mental health.

I have had the privilege of being seen by Dr Israa Al-Shakarchi over the last few years. I could not be more happy with the care and treatment I received. Dr Al-Shakarchi was extremely helpful and I felt she really cared about my condition and wellbeing. She knew what my diagnosis was instantly, from our very first appointment, and told me everything I needed to know as well as answering all my questions.
She has continued to offer valuable support and my condition is currently under control.
