A dental graduate from the University of Western Australia, Dr Wilson began working in private dental practice in 1980, and has over 36 years of experience, focusing on comprehensive dental care, in particular reconstructive and cosmetic restorations. Outside of this, Paul also has vast experience in general dentistry, treatment for periodontal issues and corrective surgery. Paul’s treatment ethos is built around listening to the needs of the patients and being as gentle to their teeth as possible. As such, Paul’s treatment planning is built around the individual patient, discovering together their dental needs and issues, which results in beautiful smiles the patients can be comfortable with and happy these smiles will last a long time. In 2003, Dr Wilson qualified as an Implantologist at the Eastman Dental Institute at University College London. Paul has worked on over 600 dental implant cases, first working with the Branemark / Nobel implant systems in the 1980s before travelling to the United Kingdom to further his studies. Paul also has extensive experience in retaining dental restorations using dental implants, from individual teeth to full mouth restorations, fixed and removable dentures, as well as All on 4/Teeth in a Day Dr Wilson has a firm belief in thorough diagnosis and consultation before starting any treatment, knowing that careful planning is key to successful treatment outcomes. Paul uses Cone Beam CT Scans and wax-ups for diagnosis as a matter of routine, to ensure that the best possible shape and position of restorations is found for beautiful, long lasting smiles every time. Through this, he has experience in treating TMJ disorder and occlusal issues. Paul is experienced and qualified to provide Invisalign treatment for teeth alignment cases and his work has resulted in excellent straight smiles. Dr Wilson is a believer in lifelong learning and development. He has furthered his skills and gained further qualifications from the Eastman Dental Institute at UCL, in disciplines such as restorative dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, dental implants and Dental Material Science. Along with his work with the Harley Street Dental Studio, Paul is also a member of the British Endodontic Society, the Royal College of Surgeons, the British Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
