Cirrosi

Cirrosi è il deterioramento di un organo dovuto alla proliferazione di tessuto fibroso e il conseguente atrofia delle cellule. Una delle manifestazioni più comuni di questa malattia è la cirrosi epatica, che colpisce il fegato e produce danni d'organo cronica. Ci sono due cause principali per cirrosi epatica: l'alcolismo ed epatite C infezione. I sintomi di cirrosi epatica includono ingiallimento della pelle, le mucose e gli occhi, debolezza e perdita di peso, il sangue vomito o sangue nelle feci. È una malattia irreversibile e cronica che può portare a molte complicazioni e provoca malfunzionamento del fegato, e in casi estremi, il paziente può essere necessario un trapianto. Epatica cirrosi biliare è una malattia rara che causa infiammazione delle vie biliari del fegato, quindi blocca il flusso della bile, un fluido essenziale per il corretto funzionamento di questo organo.
