Revolutionising beauty: the first needle-free revitalising treatment
Written in association with:Facial revitalisation is a medical beauty treatment that consists of improving the appearance of the skin using microinjections of amino acids into wrinkles on the face, neck and décolleté area. Dr Rossana Castellana, an Italian dermatologist, has developed a new and innovative technique for biorevitalisation without needles: the PRX-T33.
Introducing the PRX-T33: what is it?
This innovative beauty treatment technique was presented by Dr Natalia Ribé during the 30th Congress of the Spanish Society of Aesthetic Medicine, SEME, held in Malaga. It is a a new procedure based on trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peeling which, thanks to the discovery of its combination with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) penetrates very quickly into the dermis, activates a regenerative process without attacking the epidermis.
PRX-T33 combines TCA (33% trichloroacetic acid) with hydrogen peroxide to produce a new type of peel. The mechanism of the action of oxygenated water combined with the TCA minimises the aggressive effects of peeling (frost or exfoliation of the dermis), stimulating the dermis non-invasively.
Unlike traditional peeling techniques or mesotherapy, the PRX-T33 promotes stimulation of fibroblasts and growth factors without causing inflammation or damaging the skin. In addition, this beauty treatment can be performed at all times of the year, unlike peeling, because it is not photosensitising, and is suitable for all skin types.
A new type of peeling: what can it do?
- This new form of biorevitalisation beauty treatment without needles is used to combat the sagging of facial and corporal tissues and to act like skin biorevitalisation improving the appearance of the skin without damaging it.
- To remove stretch marks or melasma (pigmentation), and scars from chickenpox and acne.
- To enhance the results of laser and radiofrequency treatments.
- It can be a basic beauty treatment for patients who undergo retouching with mini-threads, vitamins and plasma-rich platelets (PRP), fillers, and laser.
Advantages of PRX-T33 versus Mesotherapy
- Non-invasive medical procedure
- Non-ablative chemical stimulation of the dermis without exfoliating the epidermis.
- It is absolutely painless.
- It works very well as a single treatment and in associated treatments, the results are enhanced
- It is not photosensitising, so it can be used even in summer, unlike mesotherapy
- The results are immediately visible
- After the treatment, there are no bruises or redness
