What is meant by penis enlargement?
Penis enlargement is a treatment that involves the application of traction mechanisms in order to increase the size of one's flaccid (non-erect) penis.
How is one's penis enlarged surgically?
A penoplasty is the most common surgical procedure when it comes to increasing the length, girth (width), or sometimes both, of one's penile shaft. A penoplasty operation is performed with the use of general anaesthesia, and, in order for the length to be increased, the surgeon will release a part of the patient's suspensory ligament, the ligament that connects the non-visible part of the penis shaft to the actual pubic bone.
In terms of increasing the girth, fat from the patient's stomach and/or thighs will be transferred to the dorsal part of the penile shaft. In the majority of cases, typically between 80 and 100ml of fat is injected and transferred deep into the shaft section of one's penis.
What is the length increase that one gains from a penoplasty surgical procedure?
Usually, patients can expect between one to three cms of a length increase.
What is the typical girth increase from a penoplasty?
When it comes to increasing the girth of the penis, a penoplasty surgical procedure will allow patients' penis to have between a two and four cm increase, which is visible in both the flaccid and erect state.
How can one increase the size of their penis non-surgically?
Getting a hyaluronic acid injection is the most effective non-surgical manner to increase your penis size. It is a filler treatment that requires local anaesthetic. It will typically last up to 18 months.
What specialist deals with penis enhancement?
Generally speaking, urologists are the medical professionals that specialise in penis-related treatments and surgical procedures.
