I saw Mr Healey in December 2023 and he listened to my problems with interest and patience. I had travelled over 50 miles to see him but there was no hurry in my appointment and I felt reassured that I would be taken care of. I have just returned home from my operation, which wasn't straight forward, but Mr Healey visited me in the ward to explain everything and reassure me of my future health. Thanks to all involved at Royal Infirmary Edinburgh.

This dr is incredibly patient understanding empathetic I could go on.
Our daughter Nicole was cared for and given the best possible chance with his life saving surgery. Our daughter has additional support needs and at all stages he explained everything to her have her choices and possible outcomes all in terms that she could understand.to help her make an educated decision with the support of her family. Even at our lowest points he supported all of us as a family and was simply amazing. We all felt confident and secure in his opinions and decisions he helped us to make by providing all the facts and possible downfalls that may occur. We owe him everything we now have our happy young lady back she has been to hell and back and all made easier by this man we will forever be indebted to him and never forget what he did he is simply an amazing human

Mr healey is the most professional doctor my wife and I have met he is so polite and knowledgeable and put my wife at ease with his caring attitude he has a great deal of time to explain everything to both of us and we will be eternally grateful to him and his team

Mr Healey is very easy to talk to, is a positive man, who has made myself and my family feel at ease, has listened to our concerns and explains well, in detail. We are very happy so far with the service he provides.

Dr Healey has always made my patient user journey a pleasant experience. He is extremely caring and patience. Every appointment I have had with him he explains thoroughly with a listening ear and displays a positive attitude towards my next surgery and recovery. I always found him very welcoming. Not only shows concerns about my well being but extends wishes to my husband and my twin baby boys. Dr Healey we thank you.

Dr Healey dealt with me from the morning of my surgery right through my time in hospital and my two follow up appointments. At all times he took the time to explain what was happening and make sure I understood the next steps. He was extremely patient when explaining the implications of different routes and ensured I understood why certain actions were being taken. On the day of surgery he took the time to phone my husband personally to explain what had happened and reassure him which was greatly appreciated. I found him easy to talk to and felt he listened to my questions. He displays a really positive attitude and encourages the same from you while at the same time giving realistic advice and providing continual encouragement.

A good Doctor who took time to explain in "easy to understand" non Doc talk every question I put to him. When the extra mile to tell me that he would get an earlier than March 2017 appointment at St. Marys Paddington. Full marks young man and Mr. Spalding, a 5STAR member of your team.

Mr Healey completed a hernia repair that went exceptionally well. My care was exemplary with the upmost attention given throughout the entire procedure.
