Miss Chloe Constantinou

I felt at ease straight away with Dr Constantinou. She explained the steps to be taken at any given point of the process, she reassured me when things were worrying and she answered all my questions. She really cares about the patient but also is interested in not burdening the body and the mind of the person in front of her. In a very undesirable journey, I am very glad I found her and that she was the one looking after me (and will continue to do so for the years to come). In more detail (as I know that when looking at reviews, I was trying to find similar stories for inspiration!), I had a mammogram and a first biopsy that had shown atypical cells on my left breast, when I decided that the doctor I was seeing already was not a great fit. Chloe made me feel comfortable from that first appointment and sent me for a second biopsy in a week's time (the previous consultant had said 2-3 weeks and still hadn't heard from the hospital two weeks after). Waiting for results is indeed the worse part of this situation as everyone says, so quicker turnaround was really important to me. Letting me know that they found Low Grade DCIS was hard to hear, but Dr Constantinou ensured that I knew how early and non invasive this type of cancer was, which took some of the stress away. She arranged a breast MRI then week after (which luckily was clear and I found out very soon!) and the surgery to remove the area with the malignant cells 10 days after that (again, the pathology report was clear and she called me a few days later to announce the great news!). She also referred me to an oncologist two weeks after surgery to discuss radiotherapy (which wasn't seen as beneficial at that point by either consultants, Dr Constantinou or her colleague). Dr Constantinou was there for me along the (at many times hard) way and did an exceptionally good job with my the operation too. While still healing, I can see how meticulous she has been with the scar and hopefully it'll be a faint physical and mental memory soon.

I met Ms Constantinou in March of this year where my medical situation was discussed in detail and all questions were honestly answered. I then had numerous procedures done which proved to me that this lady was not only professional but thorough. If it was not for Chloe and Hannah who knows whether all the cancer would have been removed after surgery. I am immensely grateful to Ms Chloe Constantinou who has forged the way for me to having had a wonderful outcome after my surgery. I eventually had a wide excision therapeutic mammoplasty and tge results are amazing. Honestly I do not believe that there is anything more that this surgeon could do. How privileged I was to have found a professional gentle caring honest specialist . Thank you Chloe never lose that touch you are an angel .if I ever had to have breast surgery again I would most definitely wait for Chloe to do the procedure and know that I had no worries in the world. She is the best and deserves a rating of 500 out of 100. Thank you so much I am very grateful and should you want perfection this lady is your answer.

From the first time I saw Miss Chloe Constantinou at Kingston Hospital I felt being in good hands with my breast cancer. Her utmost compassion and dedication shone through from the start. Her honest , confident detailed explanation of my condition and recommended procedures left me in no doubt in her professional skills. Miss Chloe was assisted by Michelle Harris specialist nurse at Kingston Hospital who provided me with invaliable warm sister-like emotional support while I was awaiting my mastectomy surgery. A few days ago, at Kingston Hospital Miss Chloe welcomed me with a big smile and open arms to deliver the result of a single mastectomy with immediate DIEP reconstruction by plastic surgens at The Royal Marsden Hospital. She did take all of the cancer away with my breast mastectomy, with good clear margins. I very much appreciate that during the operation she used her expertise to decide on biopsy rather than extraction of my lymph nodes which proved to be clear of cancerous cells. As a result, my recovery is very smooth and mild and the overall effect of surgery very pleasing. I highly recommend Miss Constantinou and wish her many happy results in her extremely demanding vocation.

I was advised Jan 2022 that I had a small aggressive cancer in my left beast that was very small and caught early so the outcome was looking very good for me. This never prepared me for actually going into The Royal Marsden Clinic and talking about surgery to remove it and all that follows for weeks, months and years afterwards. Chloe and Michelle Harris were assigned to look after me from then on and were absolutely fantastic in every single manner. Their direct and honest approach with regards to exactly what was going to happen to me along with little diagrams was key to me understanding this all. The took their time in explaining things. I honestly left there with no more fear of the unknow as my mind was running away with " what if" scenarios. Michelle was there throughout with all my questions answered in great detail. I will be forever grateful to Chloe and her team for taking care of me in a very professional manner but mostly because they spoke to me and took care of me in a manner that was more like " one women to another " and not a Dr to a patient. It is hard to explain but it was like a Big Sister or Auntie being in the room with me. I will always be grateful to them and Kingston Hospital.

I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in October of 2021 and under Chloe’s care. She was extremely compassionate and approachable and my mind was put at rest that she was also conducting my surgery and lymph node biopsy. Everything was explained in detail and any questions welcomed. I never felt under pressure to make important decisions about my treatment. She is an absolute credit to the Kingston Hospital Breast Unit.
