I had been suffering from a mysterious condition for over 18 months, which 6 specialists were not able to diagnose. I had multiple blood investigations, body scans, invasive procedures, and even a hospital admission following a stay in the A&E department. I was transparent about my medications and the relentless episodes of nausea, vomiting, profound episodes of fatigue, and most disturbing, confusion and memory loss.
After one very bad episode, my wife said I needed to see a neurologist. I went into my appointment with Dr. Jarman, explained exactly what was happening and in 5 minutes he determined what the cause was. A very rare and dreadful side effect to one of my medications. All that was needed to confirm this was a simple blood test for my ammonia levels. By the end of that day, it was confirmed that I had extremely high levels of ammonia in my blood, which had been causing all the horrible episodes I had suffered from over the last 18 months.
I have been told that only an expert doctor like Dr Jarman would be smart enough to diagnose this. I am forever grateful, as I now have my health and life back!
I cannot recommend him more highly!

Dr Jarman offered me a thoughtful, informed, kind and considerate consultation. He shared and explained to me options for treatment. After our consultation he shared communication with me and with others involved in my care. This has been very much appreciated.

Paul Jarman totally understands Parkinson’s which is comforting with this diagnosis. I cannot recommend him more highly. He has given me confidence and his approach is both considered and straight forward.
