What makes this medical centre first class
The Dry Eye Centre is a specialist clinic dedicated to the analysis and treatment of dry eye conditions. They provide specifically tailored treatment options which range from procedures performed at the clinic to medication that can be administered at home.
It was founded in 2013 by a group of expert optometrists, who noticed the disparity between the growing number of dry eye sufferers and the treatment options available to them. It is the UK's first dedicated dry eye treatment centre, created with the intention of improving the number and standard of dry eye treatment options available to the public. The clinic was also the first in the UK to offer Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment, which uses the latest Optimal Pulse Technology (OPT).
Other specialist treatments on offer include meibomian gland expression, punctal plugs, Blephex lid cleaning and dry eye-specific contact lenses.
