Mr Arvind Vashisht is a highly respected, leading consultant gynaecologist based in London. He is the clinical lead for gynaecology at University College Hospital London and is an honorary associate professor at University College London. He is also the chair of the Endometriosis Centres for the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy.
Mr Vashisht, who consults privately at Cleveland Clinic London Endometriosis Unit, specialises in the treatment of endometriosis, pelvic floor disorders, menstrual and hormonal disorders, urinary incontinence, urinary tract infections, vaginal prolapse, and pelvic pain. Additionally, he also has subspecialist expertise in minimal access surgery, including laparoscopy, and is co-director of a national training program for advanced minimal access surgery.
He has active research interests in endometriosis and pelvic floor disorders, and has published extensively in numerous peer-reviewed journals on the matter. Mr Vashisht also supervises several students completing higher degrees in gynaecology, and has written an updated curriculum for the training program for advanced laparoscopic surgery in the UK.
Mr Vashisht lectures nationally and internationally and is an invited expert for conferences. He writes expert witness medicolegal reports in his specialist areas. He is a member of the governance committee for the British Society for Urogynaecology and sits on the council of the Royal Society of Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology section.

I have been taken care by Mr Vashisht from over the year. With pleasure I can tell he is the best of the best specialist I ever seen. He take care from first minute when you enter the door to every step ahead. Always listening and giving all information needed. He also thinks ahead and I can tell the area of expertise is just so wide. Always creates plan with taking care of everything. I can not prise enough Mr Vashisht and care I gotten from him. Would recommend to everyone. He always has my full trust and respect.

I found Mr Vashisht to be very professional and polite. He put me at my ease- I find it embarrassing to have an intimate examination
( as do most women I guess) and I was nearly going to cancel the appointment due to the mortification of it. I’m so glad I didn’t as it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I would definitely recommend Mr Vashisht to others as he explained everything clearly.

I have been under Mr Vashisht’s care for over 3 years, I have always felt like I have been listened too and he explains things thoroughly.
Mr Vashisht really cares about what is best for you and will always put your needs first.

Mr Vashisht is an amazing doctor, he is very kind, understanding and he shows he really cares about each individual patient.
He spends time explaining about your treatment plan and listens and discusses the options available, you are completely involved in decisions about your care.
The aftercare you receive is extremely good and he is available to answer and questions or concerns.
