Dr Eleni Anastasiadis

Dr Eleni Anastasiadis serves as a consultant urologist at the renowned New Victoria Hospital. She specialises in andrology, PSA testing, benign prostate enlargement, kidney stones, female urology, and male infertility. 

She completed her medical degree with honours at Leicester University Medical School in 2008, earning the prestigious Phillip Hammersley Gold Medal for the highest academic achievement in her MBChB course. Additionally, she received distinctions in every core area and the Dean’s Salver for her significant non-academic contributions, including her roles as a student leader and tutor.

During her early medical career, Dr Anastasiadis was awarded two highly competitive National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Academic Clinical Fellowships. She also completed a master’s degree in epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine while beginning her Specialist Urological training in South London. Her training included working with renowned urologists at prestigious institutions such as St George’s Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, providing her with extensive and comprehensive expertise in urology.

In 2019, Dr Anastasiadis became an honorary Consultant at St George’s Hospital. At Croydon, she provides a wide range of general urological services, including minimally invasive endoscopic prostate surgery (bipolar resection), circumcisions, vasectomies, hydrocele surgeries, testicular and scrotal surgeries, ureteric stone surgeries, and diagnostic procedures like cystoscopies.
