Mr George Reese is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon specializing in colorectal cancer at Cleveland Clinic London and at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Appointed in 2014, he has advanced the Trust’s reputation for complex colorectal care by establishing a tertiary referral practice for locally advanced colorectal cancer. His expertise also extends to laparoscopic surgery, hernia repair, pelvic floor surgery, and advanced endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy training for fellow colorectal surgeons.
In November 2020, Mr Reese became Head of Department, following his tenure as Clinical Governance Lead. He has also developed an esteemed international fellowship program, training colorectal surgeons worldwide in cutting-edge surgical techniques.
A graduate of University College London Medical School in 2001, Mr Reese completed surgical rotations at leading London teaching hospitals before earning an MD thesis in colonic imaging at Imperial College London.
